Awards trilogy for BioGrad in one week, including Enterprise Vision Awards Business Woman of the Year for CEO Dr Natalie Kenny
Over the course of the last week, BioGrad won three outstanding awards in recognition of the support it has provided to the public during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the Enterprise Vision Awards, a night that celebrated female entrepreneurship across the North West, we saw CEO Dr Natalie Kenny win Business Woman of the Year, a category that included 22 other inspirational women from the Liverpool City Region.
Following this was another fantastic evening at the BusinessDesk Northern Leadership Awards that celebrated individuals and organisations across the north who are considered role models for their teams, and who raise the bar for their competitors to aspire to.
This night saw Dr Kenny take home the City Region Leader for Liverpool accolade, celebrating businesses that have contributed to the economical growth of the Liverpool City Region.
Finally, at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards, we saw BioGrad apprentice Daniel Bryne take home the Young Apprenticeship of the Year.

Founded in 2014 by Dr Kenny, the global outbreak of Covid-19 acted as a catalyst for the evolution into BioGrad Diagnostics – a responsive and reputable Covid-19 testing facility. Since then, BioGrad Diagnostics has offered antigen, antibody and Covid-19 testing for NHS staff, schools, large businesses and the general public in a bid to keep our communities safe and protected.
With its head office in Liverpool City Region, a clinic at Manchester Airport and the recent expansion of a third site in Warrington, BioGrad is not only pioneering a global fight against Covid-19 but also a fierce champion for businesses in the north.
In November, The BusinessDesk’s North West Business Masters 2021 returns as a key event in the business calendar. This evening aims to celebrate the region’s success stories over the past year and BioGrad is once again in the running – nominated in the categories for ‘Large Business’ and ‘Investment’, alongside other prolific businesses based in our region.
We also want to say a huge congratulations to both our current and previous clients, ADHD Foundation, Stanmore Insurance, and Brown Turner Ross who were also shortlisted at the BusinessDesk Northern Leadership Awards, and Sutcliffe, who was shortlisted at the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards.
