BioGrad nominated for six business awards in 2021

Pioneering the way in a global fight against COVID-19, our client BioGrad Diagnostics is nominated for six awards this year, recognising its amazing achievements and the support it has provided to the public during the pandemic.

BioGrad, founded in 2014 by Dr. Natalie Kenny, began initially as a laboratory-based learning provider for scientists who wanted to pursue professional careers in the field.

In 2020, BioGrad pivoted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, creating BioGrad Diagnostics, a responsive, reputable COVID-19 testing facility with headquarters based in Liverpool.

Since then, BioGrad Diagnostics has offered antigen, antibody and COVID-19 testing for NHS staff, schools, large businesses and the general public in a bid to keep our communities safe and protected.

Within the first couple of months of operating, BioGrad Diagnostics quickly earned the credibility it deserved and was recognised across the UK for the accurate, rapid testing it delivers across its numerous sites.

BioGrad was later added to the UK National Accreditation Body’s (UKAS) recommended list of COVID testing providers – a huge accolade that BioGrad is extremely proud of.

On top of its huge growth and professional achievements, BioGrad is nominated at a number of awards this year, starting with the Enterprise Vision Awards in September, which celebrate female entrepreneurship across the North West. Dr. Natalie Kenny is nominated in the ‘Business Woman’ category on a shortlist, which includes 22 women from the Liverpool City Region.

Also in September, The Business Desk will host The Northern Leadership Awards, where Dr. Natalie Kenny is nominated in the ‘Top 50 City Region Leader’ category. These awards celebrate the people and organisations across the North who are role models for their teams, raising the bar for their competitors to aspire to.

This is followed by Insider North West’s Young Professionals Awards, which sees BioGrad apprentice, Daniel Bryne nominated for ‘Young Apprentice of the Year’. This ceremony celebrates and recognises accountants, lawyers and financiers, as well as under-35s in the media, tech and property sectors.

Downtown in Business’ City of Liverpool Business Awards will be held in October, celebrating businesses that have contributed to the economical growth of the Liverpool City Region and recognising BioGrad as a nominee in the ‘Health and innovation’ category.

And in November, The Business Desk’s North West Business Masters 2021 returns as a key event in the business calendar. This evening aims to celebrate the region’s success stories over the past year and BioGrad is nominated in the categories for ‘Large Business’ and ‘Investment’, alongside other prolific businesses based in our region.

Good luck BioGrad!
