This is a perfect move for those new to digital marketing, or who already have experience in a marketing role with a need to fine tune their skills with more of a focus on the digital realm. We will take a deep dive into all the key elements of digital marketing covering:

• Copywriting and how to develop a brand tone of voice, as well as how to form communications to convert your audience into buyers
• SEO - a beginner’s guide to SEO, explaining what it is, how Google evaluates websites and why, how to structure research and create your content and the fundamentals of SEO optimisation
• Social media - organic strategy and content planning, looking at the main social media channels, their algorithms, what they are used for and how you can harness this as a professional and tools that can help
• Paid social media - how to create paid ads across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok as well as how to then look at analytics to report on ROI
• Analytics - how to report on social media, metrics for success and what they look like. How to measure SEO success and website functionality and understand how your audience is interacting with you digitally
• Reporting - how to create a comprehensive ROI and marketing report based on digital activity
• Digital PR - Understanding the digital landscape and how to harness its power with a content writing workshop focusing on multi-channel users
• PPC advertising - how to plan, create and execute as well as monitor and measure
• Building your own brand - work on your own LinkedIn, CV, interview skills and prep and demistifying the job market

All of this learning will then lead our students to a final day which will put all learning into practice to then create a multi-channel digital marketing plan using all of the elements covered in the course, as well as best practice ways to present yourself to prospective employers.

Who can apply?

Our course is open to anyone aged 19+ in the Liverpool City Region who is:

  • Employed (part-time, full-time agency, zero hours or full-time on a fixed term contract)
  • Unemployed
  • An employer looking to develop your teams digital marketing skills

What are the dates?

Our next courses will run for 9 weeks, starting on the 17th and 19th of October. These will be a hybrid of online and in-person daytime sessions.

Do I have to pay for the course?

If you are:

  • In employment (part-time, zero hours, employed by an agency or full-time but on a fixed term contract) and looking for a career in marketing
  • Unemployed and want to gain new skills
    Or
  • Self-employed and feel like you need to level-up your digital marketing

Then you are eligible for full funding to attend our 9-week digital marketing course – which means you gain amazing experience for your CV, professional development and new skills for free! The course is fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE) with support from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

 

If you’re an employer looking to send your team members on this course, you will be required to contribute 10% of the course fees, with the remainder of your course fee funded by the Department for Education (DfE) with support from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

What equipment do I need to take part in this course?

For the days you’re learning in our office, you simply need to bring yourself. For remote learning, you’ll need a computer or laptop that can support Zoom with a working camera and microphone.

What will I learn?

Our digital marketing skills bootcamps are led by a team of marketing and PR professionals who are experts in their field. Through the course you will learn all key elements of digital marketing from copywriting, SEO, social media to paid ads, analytics and reporting. Each student will be educated in many digital practices as well as receiving tips to become a confident and successful digital marketing expert.

What happens after the course ends?

You’ll be given a certificate as proof of completion of our course and the new skills you have gained as well as a portfolio you will have built up as part of the course assessments.

 

As part of your course, we give you the skills to excel at interviews and we also offer wrap-around support in securing a paid position or enhanced position (if you’re already employed) in digital marketing. So our team will support you in preparing for interviews and reach out to you to check in on your progression to ensure you are getting the most out of our skills bootcamps in digital marketing.
