Clare Blasbery.

My superpowers are:

My superpower is: I have a keen eye for a great story, with the ability to tease out a newsworthy angle and turn it into compelling press coverage, I am relentless at times, ask a lot of questions and am always on the lookout for opportunities to make my clients shine in the media.

A safe pair of hands, Clare is a seasoned PR professional with over 13 years experience in the industry, she makes it her mission to really understand a brand, learn what makes it tick and devise a communications plan that ensures all of the key messages are maximised in the relevant media.

Clare manages the media profiles for Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Brown Turner Ross, where she identifies media opportunities, positions them for comment, whilst developing robust communications strategies that get to the heart of organisations communications objectives.

Over her career, Clare has gained a depth of experience both in house and agency side, so understands the needs of clients from both angles. Starting at Business Link, before moving on to Vicinity Housing, Clare spent a number of years freelancing for some of Liverpool’s most influential agencies whilst growing her young family before joining Jayne Moore Media in October 2019.

Clare has worked with and developed the voice of high profile organisations across a number of sectors including Social Enterprise Network (SEN), Steve Hunt Associates, Osiris Marine Services, Brynteg Holiday Park and, where she developed the communications strategy and oversaw the media management of the travel management firms’ corporate buyout, by a large European organisation.

Clare gained just under £1million of press coverage for DaDaFest, a disability and deaf arts festival based in Liverpool, with coverage both nationally and internationally.
